research themes | Youth and Women

Our FinScope surveys show women are the most excluded segment, with the youth following close behind. The Women and Youth cluster actively discuss what interventions can be done to bridge this gap. We consider what data can be collected to better understand women and youth. We consider what the best entry point is, especially for youth who are economically unsettled and need familiarisation with financial products in order to encourage savings.

We want to have meaningful conversations with FSP’s so they are aware that the segment is underserved. And create space for the development of youth entrepreneurship.
