Making Access to Financial Services Possible (MAP) is a multi-country initiative to support financial inclusion through a process of evidence-based country analysis. It is a partnership between the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), FinMark Trust and the Centre for Financial Regulation and Inclusion (Cenfri). In each country, it aligns stakeholders from within government, private sector and the donor community to create a set of practical actions aimed at extending financial inclusion tailored to that country. In Togo, MAP is rolled out under the guidance of the MAP steering committee chaired by the Ministere du Developpement a la Base, de L’Artisanat, de la Jeunesse et de L’emploi des Jeunes. The steering committee includes representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance (CASIMEC), Central Bank (BCEAO), and amongst others the National Statistics Institute (INSEED), selected Financial Service Providers (FSPs), industry associations, development agencies and donors.
